PDM - Senate objects to some aspects of planned EU petition

The Czech Senate Thursday passed a resolution voicing reservations about some proposals concerning the "European petition" that the EC would be bound to deal with, such as the minimal number of signatures the petition would need in EU countries and the way it is to be checked. The Czech senators consider the minimal number of signatures the petition would need in the Czech Republic too low.
